Dr. Anupam Dhoundiyal - Vice-Principal and Dean of Hospitality Studies

Ph.D. in Hotel Management from Pacific Academy of Higher Education and Research, Udaipur. Master in Hotel and Tourism Management from YCMOU, Nashik. Bachelors in Hotel Management, UoU. Three years diploma in hotel management from Govt. Institute of hotel management, Dehra Dun (topper of batch). Founder principal of College of Maritime Catering & Hospitality (Now CMCHS) Training Ship Rahaman. Founder principal of Jodhpur IHM (affiliated to NCHMCT). Chief consultant to setup Poornima IHM, Jaipur (affiliated to NCHMCT). Former member Board of Studies for B.Sc. MHS and BA in Culinary Arts (University of Mumbai). Carries total experience of 30 years including work experience in hotels like Taj Group (IHCL), Clarks Group (UP Hotels LTD.), Best Western and Kohinoor Continental. Dr. Anupam had published eight research papers, contributed chapters in two books and co-authored one book so far.

Dr. Pankaj Deshmukh - Vice-Principal-CMCHS, IQAC Co-ordinator

PhD in Hotel Management from University Department Nagpur University, M. Tech in Hotel Management from Nagpur University, MBA in Marketing from Amravati University and B. Tech in Hotel Management and Catering Technology from Nagpur University. He has been working for 20 years in the field of hospitality education. He worked in the Hospitality Industry in various positions. He also shouldered responsibilities of IQAC Coordinator and Management Representative at Training Ship Rahaman. Dr Pankaj is Chairman, Board of Studies (BOS) in B.Sc. Maritime Hospitality studies, University of Mumbai. Former Chairman, BOS BA Culinary Arts, University of Mumbai. During this period, he has made substantial contributions to the BOS like compiling and implementing a syllabus as per CBCS and NEP 2020. He authored six research papers on various titles .

Mr. Cletus Paul Course in Charge -CCMC

Post graduate in Tourism Management from Madurai Kamaraj University. An alumnus of IHM Trivandrum, has attended management training program from Taj Coromandel, Chennai and has worked as a Catering officer on ships for four years. Mr. Cletus has also worked for Board of Examinations for Seafarers as a coordinator for CCMC all India Exit examinations. During this period, he has made substantial contributions to the board in compiling a CCMC training manual which is the first approved training manual for CCMC course all over the country. He has received appreciation for carrying out training for saloon crew of many reputed shipping companies. He has got a total of over 21 years of experience in training and 8 years of Industrial experience. He has also completed a Training Course of Japanese Ship cooks from NYK TDG ,Manila

Mr. Paul Koshy CHE (USA) - Maritime Catering Training

Mr. Paul Koshy CHE (USA):Principal of Abdul Rashid Academy of Culinary Arts and Maritime Hospitality. An Alumnus of the prestigious IHM Dadar, Mr. Paul has spent a major part of his career in the field of hospitality education. He has been the Principal of the prestigious OSHM College, affiliated to Calicut University, Kerala. He also holds a CHE, the ultimate certificate in hospitality training from AHLA (USA). Mr. Paul felt that the Maritime Catering Training conducted across the country are not helping students to strive for excellence in the hospitality profession. He felt that the training provided was broad and was not specific. Thus, felt the need for a Maritime catering course offering international standards of training. So, taking help from the industry stalwarts he initiated a three year degree in Bsc. Maritme Hospitality Studies, affiliated to Mumbai University, in order to provide students with higher education and career development opportunity.

Mr. Chandan Satish Pardeshi - Jr. Lecturer F & B Production.

  1. Master in Tourism Management (M. A. T M) from Madurai Kamaraj University, Directorate Distance Education, Madurai, Tamil Nadu and 3 years Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology from Institute for Technology and Management, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. Received Best Student Award in food production from ITM–IHMCT. Carries total experience of 16 years including teaching in various institutes like Training Ship Rahaman, as Jr. Lecturer F & B Production, Marine Medical Clinic (Seafarers Training Institute) as Catering Instructor and administrative work in Board of Examinations for Seafarers Trust (BES) as Examination Assistant. Provided Assistance in creating Catering Book – “Catering and Housekeeping for Merchant Ships” and provided assistance in creating Catering PowerPoint Presentation for BES projects. .

Chef Siraj M Shaikh - Associate Professor – (HOD)-Bakery & Patisserie

Chef Siraj M Shaikh Associate Professor – (HOD)-Bakery & Patisserie - is an alumnus of IHMCT- Mumbai, also hold Master Degree in Tourism Management and is a Pastry Chef with 10 Years of Industrial Experience with National & International Companies. He had experience himself in International Cruise Liner as Pastry Chef. He contributed 27 Years of his life in giving Training and Education to Hotel Management Students, and also hold the Prestigious Award “Best Educator of the Year” – Indian Hospitality Congress. As HOD of Bakery & Patisserie, he had been mentoring students to face the National & International challenges of Hospitality World. Chef Siraj is Chairperson BOS-University of Mumbai, Member of Hospitality Association and Academic Committees. He add honor to himself in serving as Pastry Chef to VVIP, Bollywood Stars, Cricketer and Celebrity etc. of Nation & International.

Dr Archana Bhaskar Yendarkar Ph.D. in Management from JJT University, Rajasthan. Master in Financial Management from Sikkim Manipal University (SMU). Bachelors of Commerce from Mumbai University. Bachelor of Education, B.Ed. From D. Y. Patil University Navi Mumbai, One years’ diploma in financial management from Wellingkar Institute of Management, Mumbai. Total work experience of 24 years, 9 years in finance department in different corporates and 15 years in education sector. Worked as BAF Coordinator at New Horizon College of Management, Navi Mumbai for 2 years. At present apart from academics Dr. Archana is In-charge of Research Committee, Secretary of POSH Committee at T S Rahaman. Dr. Archana had published six research papers published so far, she also likes to writes Marathi poetry and articles. .
